Before I submit and show the judges and whatnot, I wanted to see what you guys thought of it. I also don’t know what to put for the description.. It took me forever to come up with a lot name, even though it’s so simple. This is why I don’t enter anything, I always want to or say I’m going too. :p I wasn’t going to at first but anna has convinced me that I should because I already completed the house. Haha, well here are the pictures. The first two, I’m linking on the forum. The rest will be in the album once I set it up. Good thing I got photobucket, cause then I wouldn’t of had an album to share.. Opinions are needed, and critiques are fine.
Okay these two will be my start off pictures. And the rest will  be in the album link but I’m uploading them this way for you guys to see. And the sim used was Cora, she was human but for this house I turned her green and made her ears pointy, I’ve posted her on the official Sims  FB and have been asked to put her on exchange.. I haven’t got around to it yet.
I know the backyard is a bit plain, but, yeah.. Â There’s a lot of yard space? Lol. I was kinda going for an ecofriendly house. Posted this elsewhere, and someone said it looked liked the house that he recently bought meth from which was kinda funny. Haha. It’s 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom.

I like your house. I think it fits the alien theme really well, except for the bedroom. I think it’s the colors. Everything else looks really sci-fi. I think the backyard is fine. The pool is sweet. I guess if you think the backyard needs more, maybe putting a grill and a picnic bench for them to eat outside? Or a fire pit? Otherwise, I have no advice about landscapes because I have no landscaping skills. LOL. 😀 Hope the critiques help. I’m not trying to be mean. 😀
Thanks, yeah. I didn’t think the bathroom fit well either but I kept thinking to myself aliens need to live comfortable too??? Idk, I was trying to go at not all of them are scifi and dull, some are trying to fit in and try to live!! So I made it more home-like. Even though for the contest it’s suppose to be for college but thats why I used university objects in the house and mascot decor. I’ll prob think about redoing the room. And I was going to do outside landscape but since it’s a contest I’m a little limited with money 😦 But ty for the help, I didn’t think it was mean at all. I actually agree!
Oh yeah the bedroom makes sense now! I didn’t even think that some of the aliens might want to fit in with the human Sims. Ha, I wonder if I was thinking be proud of your alien-ness. LOL. Cool, you’re welcome for the help, I’m always wary of giving critiques to people because words can come across so wrong over the internet. 🙂
Hahahahahaha! And that’s true. Things come off harsh when it wasn’t meant to be sometimes. I’m in a good mood today though, woohoo~
I was also going to say the bedroom is a bit off track with the alien theme, but I think more than the colors is the bed. Maybe if you try changing the bed frame to metal, and add some futuristic decor then it would complement the rest of the house a lot more.
I really like it, are you going to put it up for download? Is a really nice house. And was that annasommer that convinced you? Hehe.
Yeah you both are right, I’m just going to change it up like you guys suggested cause the judges might not get it and I don’t want to have to explain myself too much. I’ll submit it tomorrow. Today I’m kinda working on the next chapter of my legacy, taking snaps and all that. I’m in my game right now. But I could put it up for Download if you really wanted it! I think I’ll have to put it up anyway for the judges, I’m not sure I have to read in it again. And yes! Anna did. I read her comment and was like. “SIGH might as well” to myself. 😛
